Wax Hands

What Is Wax Hands?

Wax Hands is one of the most popular and exciting novelty attractions at any event. Guests dip their hand into a warm, clean wax solution, then into an ice bath, and finally into the clear colored wax — creating a detailed, colorful wax replica of their hand they get to keep!

We dip each hand 2–3 times depending on firmness and outside temperatures to create the perfect mold. After carefully removing the hand, guests choose their colors to create their personal masterpiece.

Keep in mind — Wax Hands is always one of the most popular attractions at any event and draws very long lines. Plan ahead and consider having a line helper to keep things moving!

Frequently Asked Questions

How many people can get through the line?

We typically do one hand every 3–5 minutes depending on whether it's a single or double hand, as well as the age of participants.

Do I need to provide electricity or water?

Yes — we need a standard electrical outlet within 50 feet and access to water on site to fill the buckets.

Should I plan for a volunteer to help at Wax Hands?

It's not required, but it helps to have someone monitor the line and cut it off about 20–30 minutes before the event ends to make sure everyone is served.

Is it safe for young children?

The wax is warm, not hot enough to burn, but young children must be able to understand to hold their hand completely still while dipping. Slight movements can crack the mold.
